how does an engine run at 102 rpm though?
That much fuel takes a while to burn, so the RPMs are quite limited.

I seen a show on Discovery Channel with one of those engines (or one just like it) in a ship. The coolest part was when the guy giving the tour opend a door and walked into one of the cylinders...

Yup. They can idle a cylinder for maintenance without shutting the whole motor off.
