Mikey, you should talk to the County Attorney. People drive 65 in 55 zones all the time, and in the Twin Cities 64 in a 55 MPH zone is slow. Talk, to the D.A. (or County Attorney) and be polite about it and ask if there is any way to get it dismissed.
Good luck.

P.*. I'm going to little falls tomorrow to talk to the County Attorney there to drop my 80mph to a 65mph ticket (in a 55 zone) so it at least doesn't go on my record and I won't lose my license.

Yea, actually your best bet would be to go talk to a hearings officer. I got a speeding ticket on hwy 5 by the airport doing 82 in a 55 and I went to see the hearing officer and he reduced it to 56 in a 55 and the fine was only $80 so it was never reported to insurance.

BTW, lakeville cops are dicks, I got pulled over and he was by the window watching me first he accused me of running a stop sign then I told him he turned his lights on rightt when I was coming to a stop so I paniced, then he accuses me of no seat belt keep in mind he was watching when I removed my seatbelt to get my insurance card, then he had to check if I was REALLY wearing contact lenses. No more speeding down flagstaff =(

Then the week I had the riviera to tear down my ucnles neighbors called the cops because it was on jackstands and appearantly unsafe, they came by and bitched about how children could come by and get injurred. I asked the cop why any children would be playing in my uncles yard to begin with then proceded to kick the car really hard to show him that the car wasnt going to fall over.

Two days after that same neighbors called the cops on me and my cousin for fireworks and when the cop came by he was pretty cool until he saw a bottle rocket on the ground and told us they were illegal so I quickley picked it up and put it in my mouth (good idea not to eat bottle rockets) he laughed and told us to only use legal fireworks and have a good day.

Cops again in apple valley, I guess its illegal to dump engine blocks in the dumpster at the marathon station, we talked our way out of it though...

then about a week ago coming off of 77 onto cedar right after it passes 42 some kids blew a fog horn at me and my cousin so we proceded to follow them and they finally stopped in a parking lon in burnville, so we get out to teach them a lesson, our luck of course they stopped in a police parking lot.

Moral to the story is, keep the jack and tire iron in your trunk or put roadside assistance on your insurance.
