Oh yeah, just thought of something...
Jim, how many miles, given that the car was decently taken care of (It wasn't babied) would you think the Aurora has left until there'* a good chance something major will break? It has about 118k on it now, somewhere around there I'm pretty sure, although 38k of that was put on it just in the past year, I'm told, due to lots of out-of-state road trips. Hell, they just got back from a 2400-miler just a week or two ago. Don't worry; oil was changed before trip
It'* about due again, but that should be pretty simple to change with my dad, right? no special tools other than normal oil change tools needed, right? Hope so... How many worry-free miles do you think I can expect, though? Let'* put it this way: I do alot of town driving, virtually no freeway driving (normally) or long trips (although that might change with the 'Rora
) and I put hardly any miles on a car compared to most drivers. I bought the Bonnie in October of last year-I've only put 6-7k miles on her in that time. They were almost completely city, 25-50 MPH rides, though. I ask because it will probably be a while before I can afford something moderate to major. I just would like to possibly have a ballpark, speculative frame of reference to keep in the back of my mind. Thanks again, man
Others can post on this too, of course, if they feel the desire to. Hehe, I won't stop ya :P Thanks again, all, in advance!

Thought of anything else, Jim? Hehe, just wondering
I KNOW I'm gonna need help figuring out all the gizmos in the thing when I finally get it. Oy vey, there'* tons of buttons
Agreed on price today; he'* gonna call me after getting the tire problem fixed. Then, I take it to my mechanic, he gives it a clean bill of health (let'* hope!). Then I buy it
Another question, though (I know, groan, right? Bite me :P )
It'* pretty dirty, both inside and out. I want to take it through the local carwash for the exterior, to help protect the various scuffs and scrapes on the body and make her look better, obviously, but how does the antenna work? Turn off the stereo, I'm guessing, and it goes down? I'd always unscrew the Bonne'* antenna, lol. Just need to know before I take her into the automatic wash and wax down the street. Oh yeah, and do you think the car wash would worsen the "bald spot" on top? I'm gonna get that repainted, for sure, have no other choice, but for now I want to protect it, to some degree, if I can. I remember taking the bonnie through the wash caused harm to it'* bald spot on the trunk, but that was chemically caused, me and my dad concluded, something spilled on the car or something. That'* as opposed to the spot (well, there'* two, both on roof, though) on the Aurora, which is UV-caused, I believe. Anyway, I REALLY want to clean that Aurora when I get it though. The body really is filthy, as well as the rims. It'* a shame :( And I don't really have the time or patience to do it by hand, so I'd really like to go the automatic route. Thanks in advance for the help, whoever answers
Which will probably be Jim and that'* it
