Has anyone seen this yet?

My professor is the lead human factors engineer on the development team for it here at kodak. He brought us in one of the test models and it is a pretty nice camera.

Wireless would be cool, but for 600 dollars, I could find a lot of those features and then some.....

Still looks like a nice camera, tho

Looks like a great Point-and-shoot camera, with a wide range of features. But that'* WAY too expensive for a p&*.

I'm not a fan of Kodak'* proprietary Easyshare stuff. I know too many unhappy owners.

I know with this one, the draw is supposed to be the fact that it is 802.11b compliant, so that you can email pictures to people from anywhere you can access a wireless connection. You can also upload all the pictures from the camera onto a repository on a website (forget the website'* name, Ophoto maybe) and then get them later, thus removing the need to have a computer when you memory card is full. I agree though, it is a little bit expensive, but they have basically redesigned the entire architecture of the menus and such for it (most other digital cameras were based off the original architecture developed 12 years ago)

Seems to me like a good camera for a family who travel'* a lot.
