i guess it doesn't matter much as i cannot afford a c5 z06 let along the currnt gen zr1 varient.
Modifying any car will be cheaper than getting an "upgraded version. It'* about more than HP though on this..
don't get me wrong, i am a HUGE GM fan and the corvette is one of my favorite cars. the current z06 is by far tops on my list. the viewing portal, exposed carbon fibre and a few other stylistic details just are not working for me.

Add that $6000.00 to the 2009 ZR1 and it will get well over 750 hp. It'* all relative, isn't it? The increase in price isn't dedicated to hp only. Talk about possible colector'* item. Look at what the Ron Fellows Vette were/are going for. In my opinion, it not as easy to notice the differnce in bhp after you've gone pass the 500 hp mark since it'* hard to control it when let loose, at that point anyway, especially with that gearing.

I've been in a C6 Z06 and declined to drive it. I must say though, it'* one awesome adventure riding in one.
zr1'* of yesteryear have yet to benefit the pocket of owners.

then again have any GM cars from the late 80'* early 90'* increased in value besides the turbo cars?
