So, my Boss was looking for a part time job in the evenings.
He had an interview at one of the local business schools for a teacher in the paralegal program.
Turns out the lady that interviewed him was one of my old instructors form my school.
Well, he go the job.

They called and told him to come get some papers to fill out and some books to get familiar with, and the lady asked if I was Brian.
They want me to join the schools "Advisory Panel" for their paralegal program.

Figure it would look good on a resume down the road, will probably make some good connections too.
Not too sure on the details yet, have to go to the first meeting tonight after work at a restaurant/bar.
Should be cool, I'll update tonight when I get home.

Most of the time, when looking for work, it'* not just what you know, but who you know. Any face time you can get with potential employers is time well spent. I think it'* a good move. Way to go, Brian. Just make sure your schmooozing doesn't put your girls in the back seat.

Yeah, I definitely think this will be a good thing. You can never have to many connections

I will never let it get in the way of the family though. I actually quit my part time job this summer cause I never got to see them.
The money was nice, but we didn't NEED it, and it was crappy never getting to do things together. It took up all weekend, and working full time during the week didn't leave any family time.

I don't thin this will be more than a once a month thing.

I guess I'll find out more tonight.

I can see that it would be hard to find a happy middle ground.

It was awesome.
Nothing important or anything.
Just sat around bs'in with some cool people, had a free meal and a couple of free Labbats

Also, I had one of the best ideas of the night
