I love animals.

They are so delicious!

The way I see it the birds don't suffer that long!

Neither do human beings put to death in a gas chamber, or through lethal injection, or with a bullet to the head, or with a Guillotine, or with an electric chair...

I could list more. Pain is pain, how long it lasts does not change it or make it any less cruel.

There really is no humane way of killing an animal, and I understand we need to do that in order to feed the population.

However, I've heard of some pretty cruel, unusual, and disgusting ways animals are killed ... I won't go in to it because it just disgusts me.

Well, I wouldn't say we NEED to, assuming people'* attitudes could be changed (not likely). But you're right, there are humane ways to do it.

I don't eat meat for health and personal reasons, but I never preach to those that do that they shouldn't.

honest to god. KFC is awesome. Its Food.
I'm not heartless, infact, I like animals alot. However, what it all comes down to is cost for these companies. And its not just KFC so stop picking on one chain lol, its not going to stop anyone if you ask me. Yes lets boycott KFC and unemploy millions of people that depend on it, because, god knows, its all there fault.
Meat, if you ask me, is a very important part of a diet, and, it tastes good LOL

It'* not the killing for eating that is cruel.

The things some companies do to animals for testing and products and such is outrageous. They kill them in some terrible ways.

I would honestly have to say, its better than testing them on humans.
