i dont understand it
the van in the past 4 months has going through three transmissions
and each one dies for a different reason
1st: blew a hole in the bell housing and the shaft that the spider gears sits on exploded and pushed against the fire wall and blew the seal on the oil pan
2nd:kept going in and out of over drive
3rd: shifts in between gears horibally
i dont understand
the 4th one keeps loosing fluid

Ever think it might be the place your taking it to? Maybe go to another mechanic and see if the same thing happens.

Even though your vehicle is known for tranny issues, it shouldnt be going through so many of them in such a short period of time.

You've got the A604 trans. It'* a piece of crap. Try the link above, they can answer any and all questions you have about your Voyager.

The trick with the Dodge Minivan Tranys, The A535/A604 or whatever they are, is a stage two shift kit, I kid you not, you can hardly feel the firmness difference.
This is something most rebuilders that know there A535s will do for you

acctually we owe a grand of 7,800 dollars on that piece of crap

the trans does good except for in the morning then it acts up
its almost like it doesnt wanna get up in the morning
it does fine once you get the van up and going it works fine but it takes a while to worm up the trans acts up for the first 20 miles to work then works fine for the other 15 miles
