Average work hours are 2080 hrs/year (based on a 52 week year and 40 hrs a week) so that translates to $1040 a year or $86 a month (before gov't vig)

Thanks all. He actually took me out to lunch to give me the raise.

He said, well, it'* been a good year, how about a $.50 raise.
