Keep GXP Bonneville of get a GTO

My bro has an 06 GTO with the LS2.
It'* fast, sexy, and is an absolute blast to drive. You need to get behind the wheel to really get an idea of what it is like.
There are so many who put down that car, but it really needs to be given a chance.

LS1 would be my choice. Hence, the 2000 TA. Its an incredable topend motor. I've ridden in one. Not super fast off the line but once they are going they are GONE.

Sheesh.....used Ram Air Trans Ams are still pretty expensive. I like the look of the trans amm and the refinment of the GTO.
I want to have a 6 speed an I am not that good at driving one but will learn. My 89 Formula had a 5 speed and I could shift each gear 1-2-3-4-5 plus there was a light on the dash that read shift up. On the newer trans ams they seem to force a 1st to 4th shift unless you are wot?

Yeah, if you aren't on it, the T56 has a "skip-shift" to save gas, so you go over to 4th. I believe anything more than like, half throttle or 3/4 throttle and you gotta hit 2nd and 3rd. Easily removed though. Or you could just keep your foot buried all the time =)
