Just what the kiddies need, wireless on School buses
I know plenty of people who get motion sickness by trying to read while driving in a car.
I also know that school busses aren't exactly air ride. One large bump and the kid in the back seat breaks his laptop over the kid'* head 2 seats in front of him.

Guess 2 1/2 hours on a school bus worth given em wirelss. I noticed it was a paid program and they were "seeking" funds for the rest of the Buses, so I wonder if it takes any taxes. Laptops instead of Textbooks? Thats new to me.
Sounded ridiculous at first. However, kids these days are getting laptops, tablets, and smartphones, whether hand-me-downs, gifts, or on loan from the school.
For most towns, where you spend about 20 minutes on the bus, it'* still crazy. However, with a 2½ hour bus ride, it gives kids a chance to work on research papers and such. (Of course we all know they're on Facebook, unless the school put filters on the connection like they do in the building.)
Dodge Ram HD'* come with an optional Wi-Fi hotspot, so I suppose this is the logical next step. If this is an experiment or case study, we'll see if it improves grades/morale/lunch money theft/whatever enough to be worth the expense.
