My "desk" is a piece of about 1 inch thick particle board (spare cube desktop from work) bracketed to the wall. Works pretty good for me. I turned an extra closet/pantry into an office.

Thanx for sharing, I'm really not sure I could've went on another day knowing u didn't have a computer desk,..seriously,..no really thanx!
