it was absolutely retarded, completely senseless. there was a chase scene on clean, dry, flat paved road and theyre drifting like they dont kno goign straight is faster than sliding sideways, hey jackass you could make your escape alot faster if you dont lose traction every 2 seconds, the whole movie was just so asinine i cant even describe to you how bad it was when they took the 60'* mustang and violated it'* engine compartment with a nissan motor, ok maybe a souped up nissan motor could possibly have comparable output to a stang engine but either way its just wrong, and there was just so much godawful crap i tell you it was worse than the first one, iuno if it was as bad as the 2nd one tho, that one was godawful

oh and i have heard alot of people going aorund saying "oh it was good it had a plot and everything" what the hell is wrong with these people? seriously at what point did the concept of a storyline become so alien to the general public that something this stupid can be praised just for having a shred of one?

F&F has a habit of ruining a lot of things...

... drifting is one of them

All of those movies are just really dumb. They have some cool cars in them on occasion. But other than that, the storylines, if you can even call them that are stupid, the characters are bleh, and the realism is definetely lacking.

Just a few things I noticed when watching 2F/2F the other day:

You can snap the wheel back and forth on the Interstate running triple digit speeds and your tires will barely chirp...

Ive seen a lot of cars run at tracks on TV that use NOS...and not a one of them shoots flames out the exhaust when its in use.

You can fall off the road onto the DIRT shoulder, once again running triple digit speeds, and maintain amazing control of the vehicle.

Those movies are just plain dumb, and make a lot of people who dont know better think that the car they drive is somehow amazing, because it was in a movie.

hmm...
I kinda like those movies, it spawns more ricers for me to beat on the track.
BUT! That chase scene with the Monte Carlo was just INSANE, and is now one of my favorite car chases (in the last 5 years).

oh wasnt paying an excessive amount of attention to that, was more annoyed by the fact that if either of em really wnated to run the other guy off the road they cudve just pit maneuvered instead of going parallel and hitting on the side, lol

I'm not going to get into it here, but its nothing that hasn't happened in any other movie. Just about every action movie has some car scene some where that has some aspect of it that its not real.

Movies are for entertainment...thats it. If people are entertained enough for it to get good reviews, and more people go to see it, and it makes money, it is an entertainment success.

Ahhh, they're just mindless entertainment. I don't take em seriously, just something I watch when I need a good laugh.

But yeah, the drifting during the big get away chase scene was to much for me. I too found myself saying, "Dumb ***, drive straight.it'* faster!" then I rememberred it'* just a movie

About the only point I liked is it kinda came full circle to the originals roots in the very end of 3 with Don coming back for a cameo. But then again, does it leave it open for another one. Fast and Furious 4 "Arctic Wasteland" or something stupid
