You did better than I did on both combined. I had lights, but no straps. Now I've noticed the tires are in poor shape and need to be replaced. Breasts or tires...lol

You looking at implants or something?
I have a slow leak on one tire. So I'll find and fix that today. I don't like the connection points for the straps. they stick up and I'll be driving over them. I'll cut those off and drill a hole in the base plate for the ratchet hook. I'll still need to make ramps.
Now, when I finally go to the track I can tow the car. That way if I do brake something, I can get home. The track is a hour and a half away. Also, if a friend brakes, I can hook up their car and tow them home. I want to get a winch and mount it. That way I can winch up a disabled car. Harbor freight has a 3000 lb winch for about $60. And it looks like it has a wireless remote.

That was kinda my thought too, and I never went to the track this year.
Not sure how well you can see it. In back of the tires (sitting in cups) is a bar. I plan to cut the bar and weld the strap into them. At first I thought it would be best to put the strap under, but the way this pivots makes that impossible. Most trailers do have something sticking up to cup the tire, so it'll stay.
On the winch. You may want to aim for larger than 3,000lbs. 97 Bonneville weighs ~3,600lbs, then adding on some resistance to pulling it up the ramp, the winch may struggle. I've brought a come along with me before and luckily never had to use it.
No matter what, you'll love it and it will also have you browsing Craigslist for 3800 cars under $500 that need something easy and can be flipped for good profit.

I look at it this way. Not lifting the car. I can push a Bonneville. So 1000 pounds to pull it up the ramps. And being wireless, I can also push if needed.
