Is it just a coincidence?

Default Is it just a coincidence?

That while doing my weekly "Pontiac Bonneville" parts search on eBay tonight, I'm noticing that almost every car that'* for sale is white.

Coincidence?

I can't help but wonder if all the problems associated with white cars is because there are more white cars sold than any other colour.

.

that'* assuming that there are more white cars sold than any other colour.

Nudging maybe, pushing, no.

As the owner of a White Bonneville, I feel it is OK for me to respond as long as I don't utter those two (not quite banned) words.

It seems from some feedback from various members that the white curse is being carried to the point of frustration.

Granted, there seems to be some truth to it, not only on our Forum, but other car makes and manufacturers as well, but all jokes aside, there is a time and a place for it.

Let'* keep the White Curse out of the Mechanical sections entirely. If you MUST mention it in Gen Chat, On the Road, or the Lounge, etc, PLEASE:

1. Have some sensitivity for your intended target. They may take offense (it'* getting old, folks).

2. It better not be the only content in your reply. Use it as an afterthought AFTER you constructively reply to the topic.

Violations will be dealt with by the Moderators as they see fit.

He is ok here. There was no mention of "white curse". Just an observation of more white cars for sale then any other color, and was not offensive.

Actually, for a LONG time, white was the most popular color on any car. That is why you see so many of them for sale

Didn't know anything about that post...I do wholeheartedly apologize if I offended anyone, it wasn't my intent...

Besides...we all know the color of the car has nothing to do with how mechanically stable it is...if that were true, I'd be staying away from red, blue, black, and maroon with the experiences I've had
