i try to give as much info as possible and not just bash the prof though. (even though i feel he might deserve it sometimes)

Report it to the DEAN. No other option.
And while you're at it, ask him what the POLICY is on things like this. This gives him a clear signal that you're interested in the follow-up.

I would go to the dean directly. I'm an education major myself and while I don't expect everything I do to be original, there is a line that I have to draw. What he did sounds like he got lazy and tried to take the easy way out but that'* not what teaching is about.

college professors typically are not there to teach -- teaching is a byproduct, a necessary evil for most of them.

Two of my teachers use power points and such from other teachers, but they have both mentioned to the class that the material comes from someone else. Both teachers have worked with or know the professor they got the material from. That might be the case here, but i'd say go find out what the policy is or go to the dean, like others have said.

yea if it was me I'd go to the dean... here if we get caught plagiarizing on one paper we flunk the class.
Why should teachers be able to plagiarize?
The only teacher that i have that uses powerpoints in her class is my Psych teacher, and I know she wrote them, because she wrote the damn textbook were using :P
