last night after the bars (sobercab) i turned onto the main highway, which was right at a curve which had maybe a 5* bank to it... the roads were so icy that going 10mph was pulling me down to the oncoming lane of traffic... it was the worse road conditions i have ever seen... more slipperly than a frozen lake, and trust me i have done that too...

top speed was 20mph on the highway with no other cars around... it would have taken at least a city block to come to a complete stop after about 3 complete spins...

that was last night, and today i have to drive home, 60 miles in this ****, with another 2 inches of snow on top of it...

my car is somewhat white from the snow, think the bonneville gods will spare me?

Yikes, there was freezing rain down there? We got spared yesterday then. However, today the snow out west will move in and 1-2 inches are expected. Just drive as slow as you want. I never push it in shitty conditions.

maybe fixing that WSS may be a good idea??

well, without the ABS, the locked wheels will have a plow effect on the snow, thus helping you slow down (a disadvantage for ABS equipped cars)... but the ice is what scares me.

yes that is true but the stability system also gets it its inputs from the WSS....and the Stability System is a good thing

came up over a hill and there was a semi parked sideways in the middle of my lane!!! he was crossing an intersection and was waiting to get into the oncoming lane... if i would have had to stop, i would have been a goner, luckily i slowy moved over to the next lane and missed him by 1 ft
