I've been there. Stayed at the hotel too. The restaurant in the hotel is pretty nice, so is the gambling.
You'll have a sweet time. If you own a kite, I --strongly-- reccomend you bring it. Plan on spending at least 1 day in Old San Juan. Park at the bottom of the town and walk up. Start at the old prison and work your way upwards from there. Try and get to the fort at the top of Old San Juan by 1pmish so you have the time to take a tour.

Here are a few pic'* of the resort, I didnt take my camera with me to Old San Juan (afraid I'd lose it or break it), to see all of the pics go here: http://s73.photobucket.com/albums/i2...nk/San%20Juan/
Here are a couple shots off my balcony from my room:

Here'* a couple off a little mini-pier out from the resort:

The rest:

SanJuan016.jpg
SanJuan030.jpg
SanJuan027.jpg

All in all, I had a pretty good time. I wish Verizon wouldnt have turned it into so much of a business trip so it would've felt more like an actual vacation, but I still enjoyed myself. Enjoy the pic'*!

D'oh. Next time I'll read more carefully :P
I love PR. My wife'* grand parents live there in a small village on the western side of the island with a private beach so we basically get free vacation with literally miles of quality beach all to ourselves.
