Just a revision to what i said above. If you really love your area of IT, by all means embrace it. Pendulems always swing. And if you really love something you will get really good at it.

There is a young (realtive to this old fart) member here . i haven't been able to figure out if he is a genius or is driven by his love of the "doing" of amazing things to his car. He is also pursuing education along the same lines.
