you cant trust ""outsiders". you dont know what games their playing or when theyre playing them.

"insiders" are predictable, even when violent. you know exactly what game their playing.

Hold on. Let me get this straight, I am kinda confused at what I am reading.

So what you are saying is that you can't trust black people from an urban background. People who were born in the United States, have parents who were born in the United States, and grew up in the city are not to be trusted. These american born people are unpredictable and could lash out at any minute. And when they speak ENGLISH, spoken in a way which is marginally different than what you and I speak, you don't know what they are up to.

Am I tracking with you?

re-read what i said. i said nothing about any group you just said. i understand the confusion - you think i was saying ebonics identifies people in that group. no, what was meant was that ebonics is used by some groups to identify outsiders to themselves. its self-imposed, remember that. not imposed from without the group.

I think he meant it in the opposite way. Those who speak it can tell the differences in other versions.
