I've been attending for 5 weeks now. So i decided to check on my FSA status. I got this from www.nslds.ed.gov :

Your identifiers were not found in the NSLDS. If you have received financial aid and believe that you should be listed in the NSLDS, please call the Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1-800-4-FED-AID between the hours of 8AM and Midnight (EST), Monday through Friday, and 9AM and 6PM (EST), Saturdays, to report this situation and receive further assistance. You may also send an e-mail to Federal Student Aid Information Center.

I emailed NSLDS to verify that I am actually receiving Federal Student Aid for ITT. I also emailed ITT'* Financial Aid Department asking them to verify that I'm receiving FSA.

I swear if they are ripping me off...

that sucks man i had something similar happen with my college after my financial aid went through they said it was 850 bucks short so i had to pay that out of my pocket and then the rest came through so im waiting on my refund check and its been like two months now and i still dont have it

I got this in an email reply from ITT:

Hello!

I hope all is well with you. You are receiving Federal Student Aid. Your Stafford loans will disburse to ITT on 10.10.10. Your Pell grant has not yet disbursed, but will. Try checking NSLDS a second time about this time in November 2010 to allow agencies to update the system. Also, you are listed as Johnathon Proietti in NSLDS. Please let us know if there are questions or concerns. Thanks so much!

ITT is a joke to start with. Doesn't surprise me that they would try to rip people off

See now why do you think that? I've heard a lot of talk about ITT on both sides of the spectrum.

I'm very open to opinion and facts if you'd like to present them.
