I asked my wife'* mother and she loved it. It was old fashioned.

Well I just got back from her parents house. I stayed there after she went to work. Talked to her father, and his only condition is that she finishes her BA in social work, hehe.

So phase one complete, now on to phase 2.

So are you driving to her work and going to propose in front of all her co-workers?

She knew I was up to something tonight when I stayed there. She did tell me that when this does happen ( she doesn't know when or where and doesn't wanna know), that she doesn't want anyone around.

I am thinking of possibly doing it this weekend. There is this place that we went walking last year and it has this one spot that overlooks the lake. I was supposed to be off this weekend, but due to the fact that I might have a chance at getting into an apprenticeship for electrician and have to take a test next weekend, I had to switch a shift, then it is easter, then the next weekend off will be end of April.

I'll see how things happen this weekend and take it from there.

My wife knew it was coming also since I asked her mother in front of her, But she didnt know when or how...
I proposed to her at her work. I dressed up in a giant bunny suit and I gave her a carrot. Get it? carrot... diamond....she thought it was funny. Everyone in the store was watching and cheering

Well I was talking to Crystal tonight, and it looks like her mother told her, but she already knew. Her grandmother was over and they were talking about Crystal'* bed ( it'* small and uncomfortable), and Crystal replied that she doesn't need to buy a new one cause she doesn't plan to be around that much longer. Her grandmother looked at her and asked if she was getting married. She said not yet, and her grandmother said, it was about time she did, lol.

Then her mother replies, that it won't be long, and Crystal looked at her, and she said that I had already talked to Rick ( Crystal'* father) and asked for her hand in marriage. But her mother told Crystal that it isn't a surprise to her ( Crystal) cause she knew it was coming so don't be so shocked, lol.

Then I told her that maybe we can go for a walk on the boardwalk, which we haven't done since before winter, then a movie, which we have never done since we have been dating. I mean we have movies at home, but we have never gone out to a movie, and of course dinner to top it off. She then says " what are you up to", took a me a while to convince her I was not up to anything. She knows me all to well and she has that feeling I am up to something and it will happen on Saturday.

well good luck to you, even though by the sounds of it, it'* going to be a yes, too bad the whole surprise factor won't be there though

The weather was supposed to be nice and sunny, instead it was way colder and snowed, but we still went for a walk in the snow and went to the boardwalk. She was crying before I even had the box out of my pocket, hehe.

She is already looking at wedding books tonight.

We already set a date of August 15th 2009!
