It'* just wrong to see a Presidents Day sale from Toyota, Suburu, etc..... 4th of July is the same way.... It'* like saying "From the people who brought you WWII...." It just seems wrong....

They own our presidents, why not put 'em on sale.
This country has sold out to an axis of corporate interests and politicians who willingly allow themselves to be bought by such interests. Example? NAFTA.

But ultimately the $ go over seas. Still foreign OWNED companies. Of course, still American jobs in assembly and sales and what not.
I still think its messed up though.

Yea, were not gettin all the money, but look at all the other foreign and/or outsourced businesses we deal with. I'm not saying it'* a good thing, but that'* how it is.

SOME Toyota cars are made here (Camry) with foreign and domestic parts. PLus we should extend this to GM, Ford and Chrysler who have many foreign assembly and parts plants.
The point is that much of our NINE TRILLION dollars of debt is held as Treasury bills by east Asian banks.
And much of that is caused by buying cheap junk from China rather than making it here.
