It's a girl... Um, I mean boy...

It'* a girl... Um, I mean boy...
So we have a bun in the oven that is 20 weeks along. We KNEW it was a baby girl. All the signs said so. We had a color scheme for the baby'* room and even a anme already picked out. We told eveyone "We know it'* a girl, we just need the doctor to verify it".
Well, went to the doc today and got it verified.... as a baby boy. Docotr did all the ultra sound stuff, checked length, and for abnomalitites (all was pefect by the way) and then went to look for the sex of the baby before finishing up. The baby turned right when she went to search for "it". I'll tell you what, when he turned and put "it" up on that ultrasound machine, even the docotr blushed a little bit. I didn;t need to wait for the doc to know that it was a boy, and not a girl.
So we have a few things to swap out at the store. We did keep the "gift receipts" just in case. So now I have until August to get all the remodeling done so we have a descent room for the baby.
I'm excited. It'll take a bit to fully switch from "she" to "he" still. Our son wanted a brother anyways. Someone to "play bionacles with".

Congrats!
This is why me and the wife (well, when she was my wife) did the room and most of the clothing in gender-neutral. We were prepared either way
To add to the story, we thought ours would be a girl too. Only until a month before the due date was it revealed he was a boy.

Congrat'* (again) Gordy and family!!!
Gordy notified me last Saturday when I stopped by for a brief surprise visit.
Sorry -hope my visit wasn't too unwanted, and sorry I could have been in inconvenience for longer, but damn!!! that March wind and the moisture from the melting snow was getting under my coat.
If this kid is as big as your adopted son then you best take care of them well so they don't turn on you later.

don't sweat the visit... I enjoyed it very much. Yea, you meet Tyler, her son (my step son). He is an awesome little guy. (by little I mean taller than anyone else his age with muscle tone starting at 2 years old ). From what the doc said today, the new baby is physically peferect in every way. He kicks a ton though in her belly, so I'm guessing we have another physically fit child on the way
PS: sorry about the wet coat. Ty needed someone to throw snowballs at, and I was no fun in my carhardt coveralls...
