Yup, I just became a father today.

Kaleb Kyle, born 7lb 2oz, 19in long on Friday May 20, 2005 at 3:29PM

Man does this kid have a grip. Here he is holding up his own little 'It'* a boy' bubble gum cigar.

Both of these pictures were taken ~4hrs after birth.

Mother and son are doing great despite the need for a cesarean (sp?) section. Found out this afternoon that little Kaleb was going to be breach and our doctor decided that a cesarean section was in the best interest for the health of both mother and baby.

Wish us luck in the coming days.

She'* doing very well. The morphine is still in effect (probably until sometime after lunch tomorrow) so she isn't in any pain. Hopefully both baby and mom will be home sometime Sunday.

I can't believe how strong the little tike is!!! He had ahold of my finger while the nurse was giving him his shots and he was squeezing the heck out of my finger.

Big time CONGRADS man! WOW! Just in time for Fathers day.......

I commend my mom too. I was 8lbs and change. My brother was 9lbs and change.



My mom is a small woman, at about 5 feet tall. No way my brother or me could have come out naturally
