Didn't mean to spark a controversy. I guss that happens alot though. Personally have never used anything but IE, really see no reason to try something else. Well, I have used A O Hell, but that'* it'* own thing. Don't care much for AOL, good for newbies I guess.

haha, I even use firefox on my mac! :P

I will say, I am definitely FireFox ALL THE WAY...I like it for many reasons. One of them being that there are an absolute TON of skins for it, another would be the add ons, yeah, yeah I will admit, SOME of them are so dumb its like you've got to be kidding me, but some are actually kinda useful. Another would be built in things like TABBED BROWSING, tabbed browsing is the best thing since sliced bread IMO. Those tabbing toobars for IE? Just a really bad imitation IMO. With FF it only runs ONE process...with IE it starts a new process for every window that is opened. And oh well maybe you think that those toolbars with tabbed browsing stop that? Think again. Every time you open a new tab it is still starting a new process, but it is just hidden from Windows Explorer from showing it on the toolbar. But oh yeah, its still there, eating just as many system resources up as before, just without the clutter. Another useful feature I like about it is the links bar in FF. Yes, yes, I know IE has a links bar too, but it is SUCH a pain! You ever notice that when you change the toolbars in IE and set them just the way you like them, you can most times close the window and then when you reopen it, its just back to what it was before? yeah, well thats because with IE, iexplore.exe is running ALL the time after the first time you start it. And will be until you either manually stop the process or just reboot your system. With FF, it shuts down the process when you close the window so that all your settings are saved. And when you re-open it...guess what..ITS STILL THERE!

Now sure I will admit IE is better at SOME things. But about the only one I have found is that I can display some things better...for example, I built my website with MS Frontpage 2003...and yes of COURSE everything on the site is going to work better with IE, WHY? because FrontPage was made by Microsoft. And say on the Microsoft Office website...FF will not download Office Templates...I have to use IE...maybe Microsoft will learn, and ONE DAY include FireFox with every copy of windows they make. They do it with AOL! But of course thats only because AOL is spywared, adwared and basically paid off completely by Time Warner...hum...i wonder how much Time Warner pays microsoft and different computer companies like HP, Toshiba, Dell, & Panasonic to add in AOL...hmm...

I really hope there is no one here that actually likes AOL....I REALLY hope not. I wish Time Warner would just stick to TV and leave the internet and computer industry alone.

Time Warner Inc is TOO big...i really didn't know how much they owned until just about now...

Well at least IE usage seems to have dropped since 2002...

And as for FireFox? Well I think we know where this is headed So all you people that think Firefox is a fad...well I think these two charts kinda disprove that theory...
