It has spark, fuel a and the injectors are working. I'm thinking it has too lean of a mixture to start cold. There is probably a problem with a sensor or the motor control circuitry. There are no codes. Before I start replacing parts I'm hoping someone knows what what controls the fuel mixture or what exactly causes this.

This thread is 6 years old, and why are we replying to people bumping old threads?

I don't always look at the date.
Why don't you add a line of code to close these when they reach a certain timeframe?

It'* already embedded in newer versions of vBulletin, but the company that owns this forum won't upgrade this forum.

I take it you don't have admin permissions.

Having admin permissions means nothing, you need root level server access in order to make software changes or 'code' modifications.

You have the back end only. Why will they not upgrade the program? They must not care about this place.

The latest/greatest version of this forum does not use the same linking/index system as this one. If they upgrade it, the ENTIRE index that Google has on this site will need to be updated to reflect all the new/different links. This will take years to rebuild, and once the index is removed from Google to index a new one, our site ranking will drop like a fat bottomed girl on a see-saw. So the next time someone Googles something Pontiac related, this site won't show up at the top of the results. Some other site will. Internet Brands, the company that owns this site and the other hundred car sites, still use the same version.
