Default installing remote starter

Thought it would be nice to get a remote started fo rmy wifes grand caravan. Found one on Ebay, nice and cheap. But, the instructions are something to be desired. Not very in depth. I think this will take a while to install. Damn, why can't anything be easy?

That went about as good as I thought. I'm about half done, the easy half. The problem is I don't have the info I need. Perhaps someone here can help. I'm working on a 2000 Crand caravan with a 3.8l engine. This is a list of connections I need.

Ignition acc #2 output.
Ignition #1 output
ACC output
Starter output
+ brakelight switch input
tech input signal
+ vacuum sw input
- door lock
+ door lock

That shoudl do it. Hope someone can help. Thanks.

That seems to have helped a lot, not done yet, but now I know what wires to look for. Thanks.

Man, paying someone else to do this is looking better and better. After 2 days now it'* still not done. I had one 2 wires left to locate. The first is the door locks, found it just couldn't splice in to it where I found it. The second is the starter output wire. I swear there is not one on the van. The chart says it'* a yellow wire. I went threw every wire I can find, under the dash, in the engine compartment, left, right, up, down. You name it. I found every combination of yelow there is, yellow with red, green, black, ect. But no just yellow. The chart also says its on the Ignition Switch Harness, I went threw EVER wire I could find, no yellow wire. I found a yellow with white, but no just yellow. So I gave up for a while, figuered I'd regroup. My wife wanted her van anyways. Closed it up, started it, what the heck? RPM jumping around, spedo jumping around, that'* odd. The remote starter is sitting on the work bench not plugged in. I shut it off, check the wires, nothing wrong here. Start it again and back out, seems a little jumpy. I take a run down the road, van wont shift past 2nd. Pull back in to shop. Start scratching my head, did I do something bad perhaps moving around a plug? Check everything. Start it, same thing. Ok, remove everything I did today. Start cutting wires. Nope, still doing it. Only have one left to remove, the tech wire, but it goes no where, it'* just a splice the ends at a plug that'* not plugged in. So I cut it, I can always solder it back together. Probelm solved, van ran perfectly. What could possible cause that? it'* just a wire, it'* not wrapped around anything, not plugged in, just ran over to where I was going to locate the remote starter. Any thoughts? Right now I'm thinking not using the tach wire, another option on this starter is to wrap a sparkplug wire. Also, any idea if there'* an error on teh chart I'm using, could the starter wire on teh Ignition Switch Harness be something other then yellow?

I have a question, is it possible for a remote starter to mess up the PCM? I installed the remote starter, but it didn't work right, it started the van but it ran rough. I gave up for the night and removed the unit. But the engine still ran real rough. It don't shift right, stalls out, and changes RPM. Any ideas what could be the problem? I noticed one of the cables going to the throtal body is loose and it dont move. Is it possible to reset the PCM if this is the problem? Any ideas please let me know. I'm about to take it in to the shop as I'm at a loss.
