hey guys, just got back from my vacation had a WONDERFUL time.. J6I6M6 tagged along for most of it and a rockin time was had by all
we went to Traverse City, MI... beautiful area.... ive been goin there since i was born....
'
heres some pics from the trip i will have a BUNCH of car pics in a lil bit

this is the view from the resort we stayed at..... (http://www.pinestead.com)
we then went to Sleeping Bear Dunes national lakeshore beautiful area they have a sand dune you can climb which needless to say i didnt make it all the way up... also featured here is a hill which from the top, to the bottom is 450 foot drop to the beach below and almost directly to the lake... here are some pics of the 450 foot sand dune

that is all at the top of the hill as i was stnading on it......here is the view from a diffierent lookout platform..

this is another lake inside the park... you can swim here its big glenn lake and little glenn lake
little is in the foreground and is only about 12 feet deep at its deepest point.. big glenn lake is about 130 feet deep.. they are seperated by a landbrige on which the highway runs....

here are some randon shots of the backside of the duneclimb hills

and now probably the most senic part of the entire trip.. the lakeshore/dunes

and finally a place called northbar, its a lil swimming area/runoff lake of lake Michigan, they have gone in with diving gear and have never found the bottom of it, so there is no clue how deep it is...even tho its deep its like swimming in bathwater they say.. very clean

Cool pictures!! The north is so pretty--the Sand Dunes in Empire are gorgeous and a ton of fun. Did you spend much time in Traverse City? It'* a pretty nifty town. Glad to see you had fun on your little vacation.
