Default I'm so fed up with these storms

Got a strong storm just north of me right now. It'* storm after storm. Sunday there was a tornado miss my house by just two miles. No warning what so ever. The TV said a tornado was sighted, I woke up my wife and ran outside. The sirens went off but the tornado was already gone. The whole summer has been like this. And it just keeps coming.

I did get a few pictures

Ummm, SEND THEM MY WAY!!! We haven't had a good storm, or rain for that matter in a long time!

The best tornado detector? Get a scanner and monitor your local amateur radio operators. Depending on the area, you may have a lot of Skywarn Certified ops that communicate w/NOAA and others.

Yea my early summer was like that. Had a tornado come within a mile of the house. Our power line wound up across the driveway

I love an occasional big storm. I don't think I would enjoy them much if they kept coming one after another.

Wow. That'* absolutely insane. I've seen a few storms up here in Northern Illinois, but nothing like that.

I hope none of those hits you guys.
