I'm just venting....

I swear, I hate my job here at the body shop. My manager is a huge (and when i say huge, I mean HUGE) butt-hole. He treats me like crap, blames me for things he does, and gets real snotty with me for no reason at all. I think it's time for me to start some job hunting. It's just going to be hard finding another job that is flexible around my daughter, and that pays me $500 a week.

There is one of them people at just about every job setting, move on or ..well use your imagination.. ;)

wjcollier07 12-08-2006 12:25 PM

hmm, doesn't sound good. sorry to hear that les.

BLACK94SSEi 12-08-2006 12:29 PM

Sorry to hear Leslie. I felt the same way not too long ago and like LuvmySse said, you will find one anywhere you go.

Sometimes when people treat me like crap at the office, I shove it right back in their faces and do the same to them. They find that they dont like it much!!

Skippy1827 12-08-2006 01:16 PM

really>>> Ditto what they said. you will find jerks wherever you go

Sorry to hear that. Your only three choices are to get a new job, put up with your boss's abuse, or PUT HIM IN HIS PLACE.

There's some good ways to do the last option, and that's the route that'd be most fulfilling. lol. I mean, you want a new job anyways, what do you have to lose? Maybe some good would come out of that. By "put him inplace" I mean having a stern discussion with him about how exactly you're feeling and why. Tell him you don't appreciate his attitude towards you when things arne't your fault.

Best time to look for a job is when you already have one! ;)

I'm fortunate to work in a place without any butts. Unless I'm the BH. hee hee!

...heyyyy, wait a minute...

He's not my boss. My boss has 2 companies and very rarely is here. He's told me millions of times that I don't have to listen to Carlos (manager) b/c he's not my boss. And I've gotten snippy with Carlos right back when he gets crappy, but it just escalates and he starts getting real ignorant. I've complained to my boss tons of times and he says he will take care of it, but apperently nothing is being done. So I dunno, I guess I'm stuck here until I can find somewhere better.

Tell the boss.. that it's gotten to that level. Explain that it hasn't been handled and you are starting to look elsewhere.

There are laws concerning a hostile work enviroment. Have another discussion with the owner and mention the fact about the laws and tell him if something isn't done.you'll be contacting your states labor board.

I had a supervisor that was giving me a hard time and explained to him that I did know the laws and he backed off ;)
