Typing on a Dell, 5 years old. Excellent price and still very current by average laptop standards. The HD whirs once in a awhile but it was on 24/7 until I bought a new desktop early this year. I've actually wore a good many letters off the keys. Whats the beef?

My only almost beef was a Help Tech I got In India. But he spoke rather decent English, solved my problem, and explained his life and surroundings in an extended 30 minute conversation. (I was buzzed and curious)

Awesomeful, I would stay away from Compaqs and HPs. I bought this laptop earlier this year and I already had to resolder the power cord.

My work lap tops have been Dells. In 9 years and with only the type of abuse a fire department training officer can deliver, they've been pretty reliable.
