Default Ick...Michigan'* new plates are uglyy

Michigan is taking away the blue plate and giving you a white one when you update you registration this year. :( Won't these actually be harder to read? Thats what the cops were complaining about, but now since all the white is reflective wont it block the blue?

No, not if they print it right. I've screen printed on that reflective material (brand name, Scotchlite) You print translucent colors on it, and the white shines through. So, at night, the plate will look almost exactly the same, only lit up.

You really wanna see something wierd, I made a few decals (which, of course, I'll never be able to find ) on black Scotchlite. During the day, they are just black. Hit 'em with a light at night, though, and you can see the printing. Has I ever started my planned screen printing business, I was going to make "stealth" bumper stickers....

I like the plate that I have on my car, the old Georgia plate with the peach on it. Mom'* car has the grey plate, they're ugly. Y'all prolly don't know what I'm talking about, but w/e.

I love the Ol' Blue plates. Those are by far my favorite. Very crisp and clean.

If the new ones are all that we have to choose from, I'll comply....eventually.....when I HAVE to get a new plate.

Me too. It really represents the Motor City and such. All the cars you see test driven in magazines and tv shows usually have the blue plate.
