Make sure to replace all four O2 sensors at the same time. It'll cost a chunk of cash, but when one goes, the others tend to go pretty quick.
Check JCWhitney for the cab corners and wheel arch.
Other than that, nice score.

Really? Wow. Well I guess I will have to replace them then. They were replaced at 97k, and are probably due at 150k.

Aww man, they only carry 8?-93 Cab corners and wheel arches. I'll check LMCtruck.com for those parts.

LMC Truck is a little expensive but the parts are top quality.

The 4.3 is a great motor. My 91 Astro Cargo van now has 364,000 miles and the only thing I have had to replace since new is water pump, starter, alternator and of course tune up items. I will be replacing the timing chain this summer as I think the original is on borrowed time. Take good care of your truck and it will take good care of you. Every vehicle has a personality. Make sure you get on the good side of yours right from the start.

Something about a chevy truck and cab corner rot. They seem to go hand in hand.

That'* a good little runner you got there. Does your state require you to fix the rust etc before getting it on the road? And after it'* on the road, what do they require yearly/2 years?

Mass used to be pretty strict about body rust, meanwhile in CT anything is fair game.

Nope, Ohio doesn't care how rusty a car is, as long as it is safe. But just for appearance looks, I am gonna order new cab corners and a new wheelwell.

WHEEEEEEEEE! The Scanner showed that my CEL WAS NOT the O2 sensors. It was the freaking CTS for the PCM, I checked it out and sure enough, where it plugs into, it got brittle like they all do and it popped off, so i fixed it and plugged it back in. Problem solved!
