Is that like a vertical crack??!!! I've got one right below my spine. Generally it doesn't hurt, but every now and then I get a pain in it...maybe I should have it looked at!
People from Utah I tell you!!! Learn to read..and stop sending me crap that fell of your trees.
People from CT...I tell ya! Learn to read between the lines Yo yo Boosty...Stan was describing the crack of his a....ya. This has turned into a very informative thread. I didn't realize that only kids could get the greenstick breaks...but it makes sense... young saplings vs old, hollowed out stumps. Thank you for the med info Ddalder!

The verdict: Suspected torn rotor cup. Ice, Ibuprophen, and physical therapy in a week. No x-rays necessary...I have too much motion and ability to move to be broke.
Perhaps it wasn't the hard dirt I was bouncing off of...the net was extremely low. It was only 6' high instead of the standard 7'4".... so I was spiking every chance I got. Never get to spike...now i know why.

Yea...I know...maybe BINGO is in order... The young doctor girl who looks barely old enough to get a discount on her auto insurance literally ROLLED her eyes when I told her that I play volleyball like that. I wanted to smack her, but she was pregnant.

Hope you get well soon Tracy. I gotta know, did you at least get TEH WIN?!?! LOL

You shoulda smacked the doc, maybe the kid would come out with respect for their elders....

BTW since Brian threw it out, I found out about my broken arm like this:
Doctor: Hey, I don't see anything on your paperwork about this broken arm.
Me: *blank stare for a minute, followed by* HUH?

No idea how I did it, or why it didn't hurt. It was a true break, all the way through the smaller bone in the forearm.
