Ok, I've never had this happen before, nor have I ever heard anyone do this before.. Yesterday I yawned and pulled a muscle in my throat doing it. You know what it feels like when you pull a muscle? well, it felt exactly like that, only it was in my neck near my throat. It got hard to breathe and swallow. The 'knot' lasted for a little under a minute. talk about scary. (and painful.) I'm trying to avoid yawning now.

Am I really the only person to do this before?

i do it all the time, sometimes even just when stretching...one of the most awkward and indescribable pains ive ever experienced.

Yawning is contagious

I've had all kinds of little "twinges" like that. Neck/throat area, jaw, palms of my hands, soles of my feet, all the little wierd places. And they do hurt like hell, because there ain't nothing you can do about them but wait it out.....

Lol, maybe you should for some of this stuff, but on this I think you're fine (don't quote me, if you're not fine, don't come blame me ). I've never had it happen before but they way muscles act when they get suddenly streached, it wouldn't suprise me that this would happen occasionally.

I've done that...sucks!!!!!!! I hate more when your sleeping and get woken up but a leg one... those are so baddddddddddddddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
