Default I smell like smoke...fire today

This morning there was a big fire next door to my cousin'* house. At first when we got the call at 5 am this morning, we thought my cousin house was included. But once me and my mom got there the two houses next door were on fire. The firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading to my cousin house. By the grace of God the house next door to her'* collapsed in on itself which really prevented the fire from spreading. Plus her house was brick (I love brick houses ) . It made local breaking news here. Unfortunately two families were displaced, all that was left was the foundation of the two houses. The only damage to my cousin'* house was a flooded basement and broken gutters,I told my cousin that she needs to put a big donation in the collection plate this Sunday . My aunt (her mom) lived directly across the street and the fire was so intense it melted her aluminum siding. In total 5 surrounding houses were damaged from the heat and some people cars got burn marks including my cousin'* (which I took to the wash to clean it)

On a sort of related note to BC, one of the displaced families car was a red 92-95 SSE (only a BC member would take time to think about that). After the fire department set out the fire and everyone was looking at the damage, I was looking at the car too

Heh, my mom is from Detroit, and almost any house that burned down that was vacant is usually homeless people that fall asleep with cigarettes or something like that.
