I happened to stumble upon a pretty nice red '92 Camaro RS with the L03. Now with it looking to have fairly low miles (sat for a VERY long time but was driven 2-3 times a year) I would really like to have it. Would I be better off fixing the Bimmer up to make it look nice and driveable and sell it and buy the camaro, OR just keep the bimmer and put 3 grand into it to make it faster and handle better?

Now I know that the L03 isn't really that bad of a engine, it'* just really restricted with the ridge around the TBI and AIR system, resticted air cleaner and other various things. I know I can do the Ultimate TBI mods on thirdgen.org and get some pretty good power. Is it worth it?

Right now, I am leaning more towards the Camaro since it is a GM and I miss owning a GM.

Tough choice. BMW is expensive to mod and maintain. But the Camaro is much more common, you run the risk of becoming a redneck with a Camaro :P (Just kidding Camaro owners).

A modded bimmer would be more unique I think. After seeing that video I'd stick with the B. Plus I'm not a big 305 fan (I'm assuming the L03 is a 305?)

Camaro runs excellent. I rode in it this summer when he took it out. It'* a auto BTW.

Get it...but don't touch it besides adding gas and changing oil.

If it sat outside, then I would think twice about the Camaro. The question to ask yourself is, are you getting into another fixer upper that needs a ton of work?

I would stay with the BMW
