Default I need a favor from you guys.

Kindly smack me if I ever consider lending out my car again. I lent out my 1995 Chevy Lumina to a friend in need over the winter. He decided he'd be considerate and change the oil when it needed it, which was a nice touch...

When I got the car back, she started having problems. I noticed a funny burning smell, and she was running badly. I was freaking out a bit because I thought something major had gone bad, which would mean I'd need a new car. She may be old, but she'* only got about 85k...

Today I decided to be a responsible car owner and check my fluids, since I didn't last month like I usually do. The oil is a half quart HIGH. Honestly, I'm annoyed, but kind of relieved. I'll go change the oil tonight, no harm, no foul.

lol, Thwoom'* got it. This is more of a quiet rant than anything. I've been afraid to check my fluids because with the way my car'* been running, I was afraid I'd find coolant and oil mixing.

Tell you what, have the Brougham professionally primed and painted, replace the tires, have the bumper straightened, fix the scrapes in the passenger side, replace the carburetor, and find me some steel GM 14" RWD rims, and you can borrow my Lumina for two months.

how about loaning the bonnie while we fix it and YOU drive the lumina? I never cared for the luminas, but love the Broughams.

I'm almost tempted. Poor girl'* been in storage for about three years now because I've been lacking in time and money.
