Default I NEED a Fatboy!!!

Third one I've ridden in 2 weeks. What'* even more of pain for me is that they are all freshly purchased in the past 3-4 weeks, by the 3 people I hang out with the most. Guess I won't be hanging out with them again until November, except when it rains. :(
That is, until I find a decent one for under $10G. I'm hoping to have one by mid-June, but that means I must part with my current toy.... I won't go into that yet.

this one is a 00 and was owned since new by a 50 year old surgeon who took meticulous care of it, and included over $9G in authentic Harley Davidson accessories that are all still with the bike, and enough oil and chrome HD oil filters for 3 oil changes. I really envy my younger brother...... but no way I'd want his toys if it meant I'd have to spend the rest of my life with his wife.
His wife immediately went to the HD dealer in Alexandria and bought a shirt that said "This BITCH won't fall off!" He returned the favor with a shirt that say'* "If you can read this the bitch fell off!" I think it should've said -"If you can read this -show me your T*TT*ES!"

Except for the Springer, I think that is their best looking front end. I never cared for the skinny front tire chopper look.

Skip the Harley and go for the sport bike. I would really like to get a 600RR myself.

What'* in it for haveing to pay insurance premiums that are twice as high? Not to mention I couldn"t sit on one of those for my cummute to work (62 miles each day) for more than one day, whereas with the HD I could do it everyday.

But how do they look with a lot of chrome? I am not a fan of the looks of the sport bikes. I consider Buells as my favorite of the sport bikes (not having anything to do with the fact they are made by HD), but yet I don't like the looks of the crotch rockets.
I kow the girls love the sport bikes, but the one'* I'm more keen on would also probably prefer the rumble of a nice touring bike as well as not having to have their thongs sticking out for everyone to view. But that is a mute point as far as I'm concerned -I'd rather they not wear any at all. .
I also wouldn't fit in so well with all the Harley'* -no one I know within 125 miles has a crotch rocket, and everyone else has HD'*, with the exception of a brother who just bought a 1982 Yamaha Seca 650 turbo -sit'* too high for my 31-32" inseam. The Fatboy'* are absolutely perfect for my legs as my feet are flat on the ground at a stop, even with a little extra leg left for some leaning.

If HD'* are your thing then its cool. I think of HD'* as old man bikes and therefore could never ride one. I also dislike the bulkiness of them. I bet they are much more comfortable though.
