buy this book if you want to rebuild a quadrajet. the guy that wrote it built the carb for my gto. a PROPERLY built quadrajet will perform as well as any holly carb and it will give you better gas mileage too. he has a shop in ohio and sell parts too.

Sure does...
I rebuilt my Holley about 25 years ago and it worked well, Holley'* aren't that hard to do. I ended up rebuilding my original Rochester Quadrajet and found them a lot harder to rebuld, so I eventually had a guy named lars in Colorado rebuld it for me. When I rebuilt mine I took it all apart and soaked it overnight in a carb bath solution, it came out real clean then I took a air gun and blew it dry. What car is it going on?
