Default I must be nuts.

Has anyone driven a long distance for no reason whatsoever, say, 200 miles or am I just nuts? Well, thats what I did. BTW: for all MINNESOTA members there is a highway between Wabasha and Zumbrota, 60 I believe. If you want to have LOTS of fun and test you're cars handling capabilities go there. It is a cheaper alterrnative to Wild Thing ( a local roller coaster).

My hubby and I love doing that! We just take off in a random direction and drive until we get tired...sometimes we'll leave at 7:00 in the morning and not return home until midnight or later. Last time we drove all day like that with no destination in mind we ended up in Canada by accident. :P

If it'* crazy, lock me up because it'* one of my favorite things to do.

I have done that a few times. My fiancé and I would just jump in the car ( cutlass at the time) and we drove to Toronto one way and took a different road back. When we lived in Ottawa we used to drive down back roads and try to get lost and figure out how to get back to Ottawa.

One time we did that, then I decided to keep going, we ended up in Montreal, then turned around and drive home.

I do that all the time in the summer. And, I was on that same road 2 weeks ago, only from Zambroda to Wabasha. That is a great road for driving, unless the wife is along. "Slow down!! Oooo, lookit that!! Slow Down!!!"

The dude at Slippery'* Tavern, tho, said it gets kinda scary in the summer. Beware of Tractors....
