5.0'* are **** in a truck, they all are nototorious for seal problems and most were under powered for the application.....Now when it came to the 5L being in the Firebirds, Camaro, and so on.....Still had the leaks, but definantly didn't have the power issue

But if you want a hand workin' on that rig, let me know....I could hammer out a head gasket in one of those in about 2 hrs or so give'r'take.
