a combination of both, actually. the last one is for "light reading" during the semester, the others are for the paper.

i do find the topic interesting, which is why i chose it.

Aaah, yes, Pythagoras....read that one 5 times.

I liked the movie better though.

Seriously, looks like you got some good deals.
And with reading lists like that, you'll definitely keep your mind sharp.

i should probably clarify my statement that the last one is for "light reading" -- it is for "enjoyable" reading. from time to time, i like to read biographies (change it up a little from my typical SF/Fantasy/Historical Fiction selections). its incredibly interesting to hear about other people and what revelations theyve come to in their life. since Pyth is dead and all, quite dead, the last one is probably the closest i could come to a biography which is interesting to read.

i do need to take a break from the Wheel of Time (Robert Jordan) and the Incarnations of Immortality (Piers Anthony)

If not for Pythagoras, I wouldn't have known how much to deck the LIM to match up with the decked heads.

Yay dead Greek dudes

I enjoy an auto biography from time to time.
Actually I prefer non fiction over fiction.
Just had to laugh about the "light reading"

I thought you might have received an owl inviting you to study Arithmancy at Hogwarts.
