My wife called me 2 hours ago with something wrong with her car, front drivers side.
After a test drive - it feels like the 3 yr old hub assembly.
1995 Mercury Sable.
On my way home from work, after picking up my grandson who wanted to spend just one more night, all the sudden there was a pop and I had NO steering; turned out to be super hard steering but I got her home. I knew something was going to break, I just used the 50 cents off/gal I had accumulated and filled up last night...
Good thing I didn't take the highway home; I probably wouldn't be here if it let loose in the construction zone.

In all fairness, I knew one side was bad and was hoping it would last thru the winter before I had to junk it.

completely dead, not even a twinkle of power.
I just took the battery out and put it on the charger. I'll see how she is in the morning.
When it rains, it pours.
I never understood that saying when I was a kid....LOL
I just went from having 3 cars to ZERO.

Couldn't be as bad as my last 2 hours.
We went to a Blues night ganster dress up dinner and burlesque show.
Wife thought it wasn't going to be what it turned out to be.
She thought it was can can girls.1940'* style strip tease show and I won a pic with the girls in pasties.......and wife wouldn't let me take it.
.....we had to leave early.

Thanks for the offer, I'll be getting up early to inspect the wifes car and see how the battery for the SSEi is. If I need some help I'll PM you. I works second shift and this is my weekend to work so I'll need to have something going by 2pm.
