Grease on cedar
Anyone know how to get a greasy spot out of raw cedar? I've got a keepsake box that I've had for over 10 years that someone absentmindedly set a greasy feeling rubber ball that you can turn inside out so it'* spikes stick out and you put it on your head. It left a grease spot in the raw cedar.
Got any tips?

I don't know if you will be able to get the grease stain removed. I have some books at home on stain removal and I will check them for you tonight. Hopefully someone else can jump in here and give you the remedy. Good Luck!!

I talked to a couple of people and have gotten various responses. One person said bleach but I don't think that is such a good idea. Another mentioned sanding the spot. I will let you know if I hear of anything else.
