Well, now....see, here'* the thing.

We do drug tests on all employees here. The lab that does them measures temperature (so you can't add water after the fact). It measures whether it is watered down and records that (so drinking large quantities of water before hand is no good), and it tests for other substances, like detox chemicals.

I see it all on the test results. He'* screwed....

the main ingredient in the detox products is Creatine and Creatine can not be traced because its found in MEAT and its a dietary supplement

so that statement is untrue
like i said it works for some not for others but if you follow the directions it works good
but the time you have for it to work is 3-4 hours after you drink it thats it

No, my statement is not untrue. Believe me, they see creatine and report if there is a high value. Be careful what you say if you don't know any better. As I said, I see the reports. Listed values of various substances, dilution values, temperature, etc. are all reported. These things do not make for an automatic failure, but they are noted in case the accepting agency (in this case, me) decides they want a retest.

I am certain that there are levels of testing and different values are allowed in different applications, but they can test for and detect much more than you think.

i find that hard to believe ethier they dont test for that here, for dont care about it i have known a few people to go to see there probation officer and use that and they passed thats a state test
so if i eat steak at every meal my levels are going to be higher right or if i use it as a supplement its going to be higher so your tellin me that they might fail me because of that? that is discrimination if you ask me
so i find it highly HIGHLY unlikely that they are going to question the amounts in your body

have you failed anybody because of the creatine level being to high? or retested them? i doubt it

FYI creatine is a acetic acid not a chemical foreign to the normal body functions

In my case, we are just an employer wanting to make sure people understand our policies (not my personal policies mind you...company policies). I have never made someone retake the test and as mentioned above, these unusual levels are not failures, they are noted on the test results.

And also, as noted above, different places test and expect different levels of results. We have had employees here that were on probabtion and randomly tested by the State of Florida, who failed a pee test simply due to high dilution values, then spent the weekend in jail, waiting to see the judge again.

Just so you don't get the wrong idea, I am well aware that many of these products do work when used correctly and in certain cases. I never took issue with that. MY posting in this thread was really more of a caution, to those of you who might choose to use these products, that one should not rely on these products alone to always "get you off".

If you doubt the voracity of my statements still, do a little reading into the testing they do on athletes....

Then remember that, as in any pass/fail test, there are criteria that are met, meaning levels of acceptance.

That'* all I have to say on this matter. Believe it or don't.

Lash - any idea how your lab tells the difference between someone who drinks a boatload of water a day from someone who watered it down with lukewarm water?
if I drink alot in a short time then my sample will be just about clear.

Gameover - remember the state/county is paying for those UA'* - so they get the cheapest ones. If they really wanted to catch ya, they'd use hair samples. My stepson keeps his head shaved (hes not a skinhead he just like ZERO maintenace) so they end up taking chesthair every once in a while; like twice a year.

They don't care how the sample got watered down. Either reason is considered an attempt to hide something, so the state considers either one a failure. No kidding! They're serious here, especially with drug offenders. Remember that it IS Florida!
