Default i have a java assignment...LOL (input NEEDED)

i have a final project in my java class that i would like to gear towards our cars

here'* my thoughts so far

you select n/a or sc, and series 1 or series 2

from there you can select your mods (very basic ones): (intake, exhaust, turbo, and nitrous), but if sc is selected you can also select smaller pulley and intercooler.

Basically its going to give a rough estimate of horsepower, before and after.

whats your thoughts? any better ideas of what i can do?

if it turns out decent maybe it could be linked off this site as a reference

what are some practical numbers for these mods:
intake:
exhaust(lets say some sort of catback):
turbo(wow, lots of member with these):
nitrous(obviously nothing crazy, just a shot our cars could take):

smaller pulley:
intercooler:

are these numbers correct??
stock series 1 n/a = 170 hp
stock series 2 n/a = 205 hp
stock series 1 sc = 225 hp
stock series 2 sc = 240 hp

You are both right. 94-95 had a little more power.

Techinfo, Specifications. It'* all up there.

As far as mods, it COULD get complicated, ad they inter-relate. For instance, a stock intake can 'prevent' a good exhaust from performing to it'* fullest. Same thing with a chip.....for a chip to produce the hp it was designed for, the 180 stat, intake and exhaust must be done first.

But for the record (just guesses, and assuming supporting mods):

Exhaust 20 hp
Intake 10 hp
Chip 30 hp
Pulley 20-30 hp
Intercooler 15 hp

Turbo and NOS are hard to do, as the Turbos vary greatly, and you need to list options for the number of shots on the nitrous. Kyle is your guy to straighten that out.

Then there'* the color factor..

Well don't make mods a certain vaule of HP, make them a multiplier, cause some mods compliment other mods well, and then they both produce more then alone.
