no its a 2 stroke with a battery for the gage and i think to boost the coil or something. i couldnt get it to start....

It'* very common for those not to work out of the box.... Got a brand/model? If you can find the brand of the engine it'* much easier to diagnose.

it was running about 2 weeks ago... ill look for the band of motor in the daylight!
