i used to work at target and when people would buy m rated video games, you would have to punch in the birthdate of the person buying em... so i accidentally asked a grandma for her age and she looked at me and laughed and said the year 1920

I was 28 the first time I got married and shaved my beard off the night before the wedding day. Went to Myrtle Beach for a week for the honeymoon and got carded at the "Most Popular" liquor store on the beach

Yeah, I work at Kmart and have to do the same thing. Anytime someone buys a video game rated M, or an R rated movie, or like a knife or a lighter or anything like that I have to type in the birthdate. I can obviously tell that the person is way over 18, but I have to ask anyways...it usually gets a good laugh from them or they get really pissed, one of the two. Sometimes they get really confused when I have to explain that I need their birthdate for a knife or a lighter or asprin or something like that.

At wal-mart they're supposed to check if you're 18+ if you buy that STP fuel injector cleaner that has that jet fuel additive. They never do, but I see the message come up on the check out screen when I've purchased it.

Yeah the rule for me is if a person looks under 30 when I serve. But yeah, I know I'm really bad with ages and I tend to be extra careful. Once I carded someone who was like 45, but that'* about as bad as I've gotten.

It makes me feel good when I get carded.

At the local civic center, the beer concession employees are told to card everyone. A sign clearly states that everyone must have a valid ID for beer. A man easily in his 70'* was turned down for not having an ID.
